Scouting with: Kilos Theme : Making salt water fresh Location : Woodland After whispering with Kilos we will look for water sources in the woodland. after arriving at the woodland I saw a very beautiful forest, not long after that a Marksman appeared *Hops down* Kilos gave me some quick tips on finding water sources to find water from the cliff to a low place, we are on the mountain maybe we can find a small puddle, but we want to find a big water source so we can live, and try to go down Go north and see how far we go down, hmmm, we see a bad view, rocks, and dead trees, not good there is no water here, continue the journey going in a different direction and hoping to find signs of better life, there are many big trees, we go down from here and there with enthusiasm we go down the mountain the path not long after that we see someone setting up a tent, and we think they are close to water, not as expected there is no water source, and continue the journey, Finally, we find a bigger tree, fewer rocks this is a good sign, continue the journey to the west, We find a clear water pool *takes water with hand* Clean Water ,maybe rain water,this is a good sign But we want more water,let's explore a little more, oh my God, we see Plants, there must be a bigger water source nearby, *happy heart* hmmm palm tree, we turn to go down there, *scoops up a handful of water* *spits it out* *coughs* Kilos asked, The water is too salty to drink is there anything we can do? how can we make the water less salty? is there anything we can do to remove the salt from the water? I paused for a moment because I had no experience in the forest, Kilos taught me to make a fire to boil water in a pot,which we did then finally we could taste the fresh water and then we could use sea salt to season our food So put the water in a pot, heat it with fire and boil it , it will separate the salt from the waterand finally our journey followed the signs of life to this large body of water But it was salt water so we had to find a way to get the salt out of the water I learned a little from scout training with a skilled Marksman Greetings ChiZu... | |
