The scouting party gathered on the outskirts of Koguryo, headed for the ancient path through the mountains and past the Spirit Tree. They headed down the half forgotten trail swarming with animals. The path was long and winding and the party was growing tired when they finally came across a great river. As they gazed in amazement at the size of the river they were ambushed by a large group of snakes. Knowing the snakes were only defending their home the group tried to safley pass and progress their trip but there were just to many snakes. To make sure to not harm the snakes the scouting part put down a trap line and let the snakes make a wall of thenselves while the group escaped across the bridge. Once they reached the Spirit Tree they a cerimony with offerings and prayers towards the tree and the souls its seen throughout its many years. As they tregged on through the mountains they soon came across their intended scout, they had reached the forest labrynth. Scouts headed off in every direction with instructions of meeting at the end if there was one. Several people made it through to the end but not everyone did, some were lost to the woods. Luckily enough made it through and were able to make a map from all their paths combined. They had to use this map to get back through the labrynth and start their journey back home. | |
