This was a 2 man trip with just Nohjis and I, as no one else showed up. Cowards.

Nohjis prepared a fire beforehand and we cooked some chicken to give us some energy as it would be a long journey up. We also reviewed some previous reports of incidents relating to the Nangen burial ground up the mountains. Disembodied voices, unexplained silence of nature, a flame suddenly going out with no cause, and the moving of graves, all these incidents prompted further investigation. We used a wet cloth and some dirt to extinguish the fire before leaving.

As we started our journey up we were followed by an unexpected companion for the rest of our journey: the rain.
The mountain range had many dips and valleys. Nohjis and I were forced to change our elevation constantly. Eventually we were so high that there were clouds present. I grabbed one which wet my hand, Nohjis said it was strange for them to be this low. Other than the sound of rain, there was a complete lack of animal sounds in they valley which Nohjis noted as strange as it was usually teeming with life.

We eventually reached the burial grounds and began out investigation. It was almost impossible to investigate the claim around the wet ground due to the rain making everything wet. We did notice the ashes of the incense from the report.

We moved on to investigate another grave, we spotted a crow staring at us as we looked around, never taking its gaze off of us. Nohjis advised that we look away saying that it could be possessed by a spirit. I would occasionally look back, but the crow's gaze remained locked on us.

Carefully, we moved onto our final investigation which was in regards to the report about moved graves.
Nohjis took out her records and shared them with me, it was all off according to records. I suggested that it could have been a mudslide, given the terrain and the rain. We checked a burial pillar to see if there was a build up of mud behind it to indicate a mudslide, no disturbance or build up of mud was observed.

We decided it prudent to leave the area immediately.

Further into the mountain range we were continually met by the silence

Nohjis informed me that there was a private estate here in the mountains rumored to be owned by some trappers; we did spot a pelt on the ground on the way up. They could possibly be the reason for the lack of animals we saw.

As we trekked further up, Nohjis began running suddenly. I ran as well to catch up to her to find out what she saw. She informed me that she saw a vision of her two children, who are deceased....
She left a feather in the valley as an offering and I left a shiny brightly colored egg, something for the children I suppose.

Our final stop up was a cave in which we took shelter, or at least tried to until visions of our own death repelled us. Nevertheless we sent up camp outside with a tent. We huddled together and chatted while overlooking the mountain range.

Thankfully our trip back down was uneventful.
