*you see a new parchment tacked to the board* Air Hiro here. Found a new connection, must write down my findings. The Druids have always been one with nature, and the animals. As I delve deeper into my studies I have found myself studying all of the animals that roam these lands. I'd like to tell you all about my experience. To begin I found myself in the open meadows of the wilderness. I saw the sheep and rams moving along, slowly eating grass. They called to me. *baaa* As I begin to wonder up, I saw a shepard tending to his flock. He beckoned to me with his large oak staff. "Why are you here?" he asked. Unsure of the answer he was looking for, I just stared blankly at the sheep in the field. He pulled a water skin from his robes and offered me a drink. I realized how thirsty I had become in that moment and took the water a drew a long, big gulp. I immediately felt a rush through my entire body and had to sit down. A rather large fluffy sheep nestled up next to my shoulder and I leaned my head over on it. During this small instance my connection was formed. I now knew and understand that like a sheep, balance and sacrifice for others were my priority. To be one with a sheep is an honour that I do not take for granted. I will always promote peace and be willing to help all those around me, even if it causes myself discomfort. Stability in all nature and community is of my upmost importance. To allow all to be free in nature is worth fighting for, even if it means sacrificing my comfort. And this is how my connection was formed and what I learned from it. Druid in training, Poet Hiro | |
