Many steps down this path, and my opinion has not changed. Neutrality, in spite of the definition, requires action. Living purely by observation and the unwillingness to intervene is not neutral, but destructive and reckless. The imbalance in nature caused by the choices of man requires the actions of mankind to restore the balance. Neutrality and Balance are deeply intertwined. Maintaining the balance between Yin and Yang requires action, which is a shift in neutrality, which causes the balance to tip in favor of the action. It is impossible to be completely balanced and completely neutral. The best we can do is try to find the right steps down the correct path, and correct our mistakes as we see fit. -Inscript | |
