West Aprok. We entered the west area and found ourselves in a dim lit path. Fractured trees and broken stone surround the area. Immediately we notice there are no refugees in this area which brought concern. In the trees on the west end of the path, was the rumor of this shadowy figure. I equipped my trusty candlelight and began to use my tracking skills that I had recently gone over with Guide Quotah. I noticed fur on the ground... this fur was thick and fresh. On the broken tree, I notice claw marks. Big claw marks. I continued to search through the trees and stepped in something no one wants to step in... It was fresh and stinky. By the looks of it, it came from a big animal. Based on my thoughts, this had to of been a big bear... It was scary to think that a bear of gigantic size was in the area and no refugees to witness... After determining what this might be, we began to wrap up our journey. We hope to find information on where these refugees went. Hopefully they managed to take care of the bear and find food for themselves. I enjoyed this scouting trip and learned a lot about the Sonhi Refugees.
