**The Root and the Circle**

To me now, the Druid path means returning to what is true, steady, and alive beneath all of the noise and at times, chaos. It is a path of balance, wisdom, and remembrance. It teaches me that growth is not always loud or visible. Sometimes growth is roots deepening in dark soil, unseen but necessary. The path reminds me that nature moves in seasons, and so do we.

The Druid path is also family. Family not only to one another, but to the Earth itself.... in the trees, waters, sky, creatures, and every living thing that shares this world with us. It is family within the community of Nexus TK, where bonds are formed through trust, guidance, and shared spirit. To walk this path is to know that none of us truly stand alone.

My time away has taught me humility and honesty. I have learned that distance from the path does not erase it. Even when I wandered, the lessons remained within me. I learned that life can become heavy, and that seasons of silence do not mean the light is gone. They simply mean it must be tended again, and that work is needed to be done within one self. One can never stop learning new things. One can also always, always, make changes within themselves to better themselves. And that is exactly what I have done in my time away; and I fully intend on continuing with the growth and changes.

If (or when) real life becomes heavy again, I intend to protect the peace of the circle through communication, accountability, and respect. I will speak honestly before silence becomes absence. I will step back with care when needed rather than disappear without word. I will remember that the circle is sacred, and that each member helps hold its harmony.

I also believe the magick Druids bestow is not something given only from one hand to another, it is something awakened. It lives quietly inside every heart, even in those unaware of it. It is the spark of kindness, courage, intuition, healing, and wonder that waits to be remembered. The Druid path helps people see the light that was already within them and help teach those to whom wish to learn more about the magick within themselves.

From this point forward, I wish to be a Druid of steady presence. Not perfect, not grand, but grounded. I wish to listen deeply, learn continually, offer kindness freely, and protect the peace of both land and circle. I wish to be like the oak rooted in truth, strong through storms, and generous in shelter, not only for oneself, but others that may need it at any given time.
