I have come to the conclusion that I am most likely a metal snake. Of all the animals featured in the Divine Chronicles, the one that I felt a certain affinity for was the snake. First of all, it is associated with the qualities of a calm, careful, and wise individual. Throughout my life, I have always tried to thoroughly analyze any given situation to avoid making rash decisions and mistakes. Therefore, the snake is indeed very reflective about things. At the same time, I identified with the Snake's love for acquiring knowledge because throughout my life, I have never stopped looking for new things that I could study or learn about. My curiosity and thirst for information are never satisfied, so the snake's constant desire to learn new information appealed to me greatly. Finally, the fact that the animal is very devoted to what it has started reminded me of myself, as I have never liked abandoning projects after getting started. I prefer to finish everything that I have started in order to complete the work in the best possible way and not waste anyone's trust. And concerning the metal element, I felt like I matched this one even better. I have been quite determined and resolute when needed, preferring to make plans rather than leave everything to fate. Moreover, throughout my life, I was rather self-reliant, often trying to figure things out by myself before going to others for help. However, I realize that there are also weak spots typical for metal and reflected in me. Thus, I know that sometimes I am quite stubborn and do not wish to accept any advice or correction if I am convinced of the correctness of my position. Another weakness is unwillingness to share my thoughts with others; however, I am still striving to overcome both of these flaws. But the more I learned about the Zodiacs, the closer the Metal Snake seemed to me. I did not choose it for sounding impressively good or because I hoped to correspond to it. On the contrary, I realized that no matter how much it might seem exaggerated, it describes me pretty accurately now. This is the reason why, if asked to choose a Zodiac without seeing stars, I would opt for Metal Snake. ~Nismo | |
