where wind meets water in a quiet, deep blue Coral Gardens I found a spot right in the middle, and settled down gently on the still surface, letting the cold water rise to my knees, surrounding my skin like a soft, quiet embrace. I could almost feel the breath of unseen creatures slipping through, whispering just beneath the surface. A shiver ran through me at the softest touch, like scales shifting silently under the water. In the shadows, vague shapes slipped and slid, smooth, cool bodies weaving slowly together. With my eyes closed, I sensed sharp, glowing eyes watching me from the dark. In the hush of silence, there was a power still, yet overwhelming that pressed against me. And then, carried on a gentle breeze, a chill brushed the tip of my tongue, lingering inside. It felt as if I stood upon an unseen line. A cold darkness gently seeped in, yet beyond it, a warm light writhed and stirred.
