Among the creatures of the realm, I feel my spirit is most drawn to the raven. Many see the raven only as a sign of bad omen, and because of that it is often misunderstood. But to me, the raven is not only a dark sign. It is a creature of intelligence, watchfulness, and quiet wisdom. It observes before it acts, learns from what is around it, and finds a way even in difficult places. I have also long felt meaning in small and quiet life, like moss on stone, because such things are easy to overlook but still belong deeply to nature. In a similar way, I feel the raven also carries value that many do not see at first. It is not loud, but it is not empty. It is not bright, but it is not without meaning. For these reasons, I give my devotion to the raven, whose hidden wisdom, endurance, and careful spirit feel closest to my own path.
