Aligning with fire, it would be easy to pick the key it represents, but I am instructed not to do that. Easily I choose the key to earth. With this earth element, I can safely build my fire. With stones and earth I can restrict the movements of fire. With earth, I can cover a fish in thick mud and put it in the fire to cook. When I'm finished with my fire, earth will assist me in putting it out. Covering it with a layer of soil will subdue and extinguish the fire. As for an item that represents my chosen element, I would choose an unidentified flame. Small, though it is, it is the spark of life within me. It is the beating of my heart, the thoughts in my mind, my dreams in the night. Without this flame I would be nothing, I would be a husk Of a man, with no drive, no ambition, no desires. Do not be deceived by this small flame, released it will create turmoil and ruin to whatever it touches. It is a wild and indiscriminate destroyer of life, limb and property.
