~A journal of my journey in The Kingdoms~ I

*Day One*
"Go to the Valley where the spirits sing." my Mother said to me. LIES. I can't get in.
I can hear the drums but every time I try to step a foot forward into the darkness, I freeze.
Fear consumes me, especially after my journey here to the kingdoms.
I woke up with none of my belongings and feel as though I'm not myself,
though when I look at my reflection in waters I am indeed me!
The healers here say I am of good health but the feeling is very strange.
Fortunately there are many taverns here in our native lands,
San-Tei has been so kind as give me a place to rest tonight.

*Day Two*
A tiring day! San-Tei woke me BEFORE dawn,
speaking quickly about the north east lands and IronHeart with nothing but a few mouthfuls of rice!
I reach him just after sunrise, and he was also quick to send me on errands.
Grateful that I did learn where the local chestnuts lay and I did take time to eat a few.
He sent me all over, Dae Shore, Sonhae village, UP MOUNTAINS.
San-Tei's tavern is full tonight so I'm staying with San-Tu in the next tavern over.
I heard the calling again today but still I freeze on the edge of darkness.

*Day Three*
I try to recall much of what Mother said, I should have paid more attention to her words.
She spoke much of other lands, other realms connected by thread. She visited often,
dancing to the rhythm of her drum and falling into deep states of sleep I could never wake her from.
Ironheart sent me to the Wilderness and to the Museum today, though when I got back he told me that was all he could teach me.
He said very little else after that.
On my journey home I was invited to play a game of dice!
My luck was terrible the first few rounds, though a kind stranger told me to eat an apple for good luck.
I did and it went pretty well after that! I felt so much joy I almost skipped home.
As I travelled through the homelands I heard the drums again, but this time with voices, laughter, hushed whispers, romances, heartache. I stepped into the darkness, and for the first time and the veil was lifted.
