While I stand in the Buyan Palace Courtyard, the earth beneath my feet, the sound of the whispering winds through the trees, I've found myself contemplating the very essence of Neutrality. It is not detachment or indecision. To me, Neutrality is the sacred balance. The space between flame and frost, wet and dry. As a Geomancer, I walk in harmony with the elements, each one powerful in its own right, Yet all held together by a deeper rhythm. Neutrality is that rhythm. It is the calm in the storm, The silence between thunder, and the subtle break between gusts of wind. Neutrality is a choice, sometimes it's a difficult one. It asks me not to turn away from suffering or injustice, but to see clearly, without the fog of emotion or the distractions of pride. In the face of conflict, Neutrality is not weakness it is groundedness. Like the mountain, it does not tremble when tempests roar, yet it knows when to let go, like the landslides in spring. My duty as a Geomancer is not to wield power, but to understand it, to feel the tension of opposing forces and guide them back into balance. In this, I become a vessel of the Earth's will, not my own. Neutrality is also a deeply personal practice. There are days when my heart burns to intervene, to tip the scales in the name of those I care for. But the path of a Geomancer is not ruled by impulse. It is shaped by wisdom, and by trust in the unseen currents of fate and harmony. I have learned to sit with discomfort, to listen longer, to act only when the soil speaks and the winds approve. Neutrality, to me, is not standing in the middle of it all, it is standing where I am most needed, without judgment, with full awareness. It is not easy, but it is true. And in that truth, I find peace. ~Sahae Tao | |
