I moved to the kingdoms recently after my home near Han was flooded. They were building a wall along the mountain tops near where I lived and it looked like they dug up a spring or something. Anyway, I decided I would move south to try my luck here. I couldn't carry very much to begin with. I brought a couple changes of clothes and my grandfather's spring bow. When I came into the lands here and the guards interrogated me about appropriate behavior I was given a small sword to protect myself from the wildlife and some dried bear's liver. This food is new to me but not especially tasty. All the houses in town were taken, so I've been camping near the water to the south of the area where all the sheep graze. There's a small town near there and they don't seem to mind my tent but the bats and rats in the caves are a bit noisy. I looked at the water north of the sheep fields but that's somehow salt water because a lobster pinched my...toe while I was sleeping. While I was wandering the woods I smelled some fresh water nearby. I've watched it rain here a few times and it doesn't look like it will flood, I hope. I also noticed some small animal prints in the water near the shoreline, so I'm hoping to learn how to catch something other than bear and maybe make a different meal.
