When I was taking a stroll around Kugnae, letting fate and whim guide me. I came upon a woman standing on a hill with two foxes, one black and one white, reminding me of yin and yang. A correlation I couldn't ignore. I traversed the bridge to her little hill with a wooden arc and said "Greeting how are you this fine day". To which she replied "Greetings doing well, except these ill omens I've been having. The voices on the wind have been claiming darkness is coming and the darkness have beset my own dreams as well". I then said "I have felt the incoming darkness as well, I am Diviner Xanthus and I might be able to help show some clarity through this shade". She stated "Well met Xanthus! I am Maya and if you could help, I wonder what is coming to the kingdoms?". I acknowledged her question with a nod and wordlessly pulled out a Tarot card deck, shuffling it and drew 2 cards from the deck, for the two foxes nearby. The first card being that of River and the second that of wand. I placed them down as. As the first card was the up-right River and omen of Balance and constant movement which was the main premonition that of constant and undyeable change was coming and would have been with an unknown end. Except, the next card a reverse wand an ill omen indeed. The river followed by the reverse wand forecasts life which is constant flowing is going to be to suffer a loss of light, a bump along the path, and confusion will be wrought in this coming darkness. I was about to relay all this to her, when across the wind one word came ~Elixer~, to which Maya grabbed her bow and yelled "Elixir Time!" and ran off. I have left the premonition here to maybe warn of future comings. Xanthus | |
