Report-

As we started we were taught to not trust bridges outright, which is something new to me as I've always taken their stability for granted.
Though built with sturdy materials, the wear and tear of use, the elements, and time can render some of them... unreliable. So if traveling in a group it is best to cross 1 at a time.

While I am versed in tracking people, tracking animals is a different game, with their heightened sense of hearing and smell, it is necessary to dress for the job and to ensure there are no... lingering human scents on me.

As we practiced camouflage and tracking, I enjoyed seeing animals behave naturally in their environment, free of the fear and pressure that comes with human contact. A family of deer were able to walk together in peace, a family of mice were gathering food and transporting it into their burrow, a snake drinking water out of a puddle.

We were guided today by Ranger Quotah, she was prompt, understanding, and efficient.
She was able to instruct us on the basics; as much as time would allow, on basic foraging, archery,
camouflage, trapping, cartography, security, and tracking. I am sure that there is much more to learn from her.
