The Merchant Guild officially proclaims that we do not recognize ChaeRi as the crown of Nagnang. Furthermore, we consider him to be an Enemy of the Merchant Guild. We cannot and will not support a petulant despot who slays the citizens of his own nation with no remorse, nor one who is so thoughtless in guiding a great nation such as Nagnang. Worse, his tyrannical handling of The Forsaken clan is so thoroughly uncalled and exposes him for what he is - a bully. ChaeRi continually talks about peace, unity, and other flowery ideals while consistently being despotic, controlling, heavy-handed, and disregarding of his nation. His hypocritical authoritarian regime is the exact opposite of what he preaches, and the Guild has no tolerance for an oppressive leader who would subject those under him to such cruelties while talking out of the side of his mouth. This proclamation explicitly means we do not view ChaeRi as having any authority to make any decrees or rulings for Nagnang, and as such the Merchant Guild will not abide by any which he makes. The Merchant Guild will refuse ALL aid, services, and events to those who support ChaeRi as his Royal Guard. You are not welcome. Though, we will offer now that those who renounce their support of ChaeRi will not be penalized. All trade and operations in Nagnang, including Merchant Midnight Madness, will immediately cease activity. The Merchant Guild will gladly welcome in and strengthen friendships with all those who oppose ChaeRi. Despite the dark clouds which have hung over Nagnang, and the difficult days ahead in the short term, I know better days are ahead for the Land of the Dead as long as justice remains our guiding light. ~everclear~ Merchant Elder | |
