(\/) Muse College of Art The Art of the Muse Course Introduction Art is one of the many ways people express themselves. It can be seen, heard, read, performed, or even experienced. A painting, a song, a poem, a dance, a beautiful piece of clothing, and even the design of a building can all be considered art. As a Muse, learning about art is not only about learning how to create something beautiful. It is also about learning how to see, understand, and appreciate the things around us. An artist may create something because they are happy, sad, inspired, angry, or simply curious. Sometimes the meaning of a piece of art is very clear. Other times, the meaning is hidden and the viewer must decide what it means to them. There is no single way to experience art. Two people can look at the same paintingand feel completely different emotions. Neither person has to be wrong. Throughout this course, we will learn how art communicates, how artists use colors and shapes, how art becomes part of a culture, and finally how we can create art of our own. Send nmail to BabYHeuaY to register ~ Registration ends August 23 ---------------------------------- Class Schedules CLASS 1 Language of Art (August 24 - August 30) CLASS 2 Color, Shape and Emotion (August 31 - Sept 6) CLASS 3 Art of the Kingdom (Sept 7 - Sept 13) CLASS 4 The Artist Within (Sept 14 - Sept 20) | |
