<b>                             Rules
<b>                       -----------------
    To win at fencing, you must walk in line with your
    opponent and land critical attacks against them,
    while avoiding their attempts to return the favor.
   
    Three points are awarded for a critical attack
    (whirlwind), two points for a less vigorous attack
    (Berserk) and one point for a small attack (Slash.)

     Striking the Head          -           3
    ( Whirlwind / Lethal Strike )

     Body Strike                -           2
    ( Berserk / Desperate Attack )

     Swift Strike               -           1
    ( Slash )


<b>                           How to Win
<b>                       -----------------
<b>     The first to earn ten points wins the round
    The one who defeats all his opponents will be declared
    winner of the competition

<b>                             Prizes
<b>                       -----------------
    The winner will be recognized (marked) by the
    Dojong for his or her efforts as being a Do Shousha.



    Please arrive equipped with courtesy and respect,
    but nothing else. We ask that weapons only be
    used during fencing, and we hope you will comply
    with the dress code of the Dojong.
