Wow kind of incredible response here. Lets just assume operating in good faith because otherwise open disdain for the playerbase that supports the game is a bit much. A thing happened, its nuanced but very clearly exploit territory so it is appropriate it is addressed in some way. As a side effect your game nearly quadrupled again in size over night, making even more plain the neglect you actively shove its way.

So what do we do? Use the vast resource of interested players and poll to find out what people feel is the best of the internally chosen options? Maybe chit chat one evening and explain why your taking whatever response you will put into place?

Lawl, nah just burn it all and see if you can finally shake the last good souls. How dare they enjoy your product. It truly almost feels like you went out of your way to pick the worst resolution possible for the relevant circumstance. Literally no party involved was not screwed over pretty dramatically, and your solve was assign them homework to culminate decades of personal progress.

For the record, Bots run the game now incase you want to pretend to work here today. Every prime destination is in constant motion 24/7. As for neglecting your product properly, many games with a rotating event format on various platforms opt for repeating staple events to make the lack of genuine new content less invasive to enjoying gameplay. Every other weekend rotates out pirate shield quest with mongol invasion for a "cheap" subaccessorie option. Let alone just an in game source buffer than Gruff rings lol.

This is such low hanging fruit it feels consciously chosen beyond the path of least resistance here, so to uhh miss the mark on the woodlands quest this spectacularly is a bit of a tell truly.
