The quest is divided into two portions and two places. Load up with the items for the first portion that goes until: Wolf Pen is the final step in the first half - It is far north and you do not need to give any grilled beef, it will auto take the beef to ensure you cross each bridge in the center. (I thought I had to cross till all were gone, but later learned I just need to cross to the north most room. The mobs are aggressive and chat boxes take awhile to go through so pull them from the npc and speed through the chats if you aren't on a mage that can paralyze them. Second portion is in Menaced town. If you are weak for your cave, I recommend dropping BODs first, you do not need to do this portion in any order other than speaking first to the NPCs and returning when you are done. The lanterns are to be dropped West of town in Somber woods and north of Somber woods in Dim thicket. The Red Flare boss is pretty weak, but he will heal if you sleep him, so find other means. If you are unable to defeat him alone, grab damaged orbs from the incubator or world shout for assistance and someone should be able to help kill him grouped with you. That's about it IMO.
