Hello! You cannot hit the red and blue creatures at all. I am not sure if my warrior's Hit was simply too low, but I could easily hit the other ones. My go-to method for completing this quest quickly (in about 5-10 minutes) is to log out if you become surrounded by red and blue creatures, wait 30-60 seconds, then log back in. Usually, they will have moved away. If not, repeat the process until they do. You will have a brief window of just a few seconds before the creatures start chasing you again, which is enough to move forward. Keep re-logging whenever you get stuck. I have used this tactic for many years. Back in the day, the red and blue creatures could be killed, but the re-log trick still worked just as well. Also, Astrael is correct that unregistered characters can do the quest and get marked, but cannot hold the shield. Good luck! Best, Starfleet | |
