Re your Dream posted on Dreams 1032, I would like to say few words.

I've been a roleplayer in NexusTK for the past 26 years, and I truly believe this is one of the last unique places where the community remains strong. Despite all the drama, the lack of events, and the slow updates, it's the bonds we've built that keep us united.

I understand the desire for easier access and casual play, but I respectfully disagree with this vision.

Gatekeeping isn't just about power ...  it's about preserving meaning. Paths in Nexus aren't just collections of spells or titles ...  they are living communities shaped by years of tradition, mentorship, and lore. Reducing everything to an NPC quest may offer accessibility, but it also strips away what makes each path unique, earned, and alive.

If spells and items were available to all without commitment or roleplay, they'd lose their value ...  not in terms of power, but in identity. The subpaths, their trials, and roleplay aren't just walls ...  they're bridges into immersive stories. You don't have to roleplay deeply, but the choice to walk a path should still mean something more than just stats.

And people do roleplay ...  maybe not like before, maybe not loudly ...  but in quiet events, traditions, ceremonies, and even small interactions, the spark still lives. If we give up on it entirely, we're not freeing players ...  we're flattening a world that was built to be deep.

Let people play how they want, yes ...  but don't erase the meaning behind the choices we've all had to make to become something, not just equip something.
