Hello everybody, I just wanted to share some information on the house system before it is released tomorrow, August 17th 2002 at about 3PM PST. There will be three types of houses you can rent. The Large is about 35x35, costs the most, and there is very few of them available. The medium house is about 25x25, is average in cost, and there is quite a few available. Finally the small is about 15x15, costs the least, and there are a lot available. The cost of the houses will vary depending on how many houses are available. The less available houses in that town the higher the cost will be. This is based on a town-to-town basis, so you may find a better deal in a different town. This price will be paid once every real life 30 days. Once you rent a house your cost will be locked in, and when you renew your home it will cost the same as the first rent you paid. You will be able to share your home with other players, so a group of friends will be able to pull their gold together and rent a single home, and share it. However only the person who paid the rent will have full control over this. You will also be able to invite your other characters to live with you, so you can share the house with your whole account. The system takes about an hour or so to process all requests, and while updating your character will knock you off Nexus. Also while it is updating your character you will not be able to log on for a minute, and it will say your password is incorrect. This is normal, and you will be able to log on again after a short time. Eldridge | |
