I think at this point its pretty clear the game will be left to collapse with minimal resources and no management to speak of, but for the record lets cover how many ways it could be thriving. Copy pasta- Every other weekend is an event weekend, and it rotates between pirate infusion for shields and mongols for gutuls. Sa shard sets are the only market hurt here, but sa boots werent really a thing during mongols so it would be good to see a cheap sub option for people be more abundant across all levels. Actual work- The game is capable of thriving in a free to play market with how predatory the cash shop was built up. Even if you hate it in principle, the FUNCTION is there to make it worth your time and energy. This would sadly require the occasional checking for cheaters and general upkeep that has been absent. New content- New event would obviously draw a lot of people back, especially if it was able to give featherlights/flamespears at the end or add other options to that level of overpowered gear. At this point you could crowdsource it to the community here and theyd be happy to do the work for you even if your able to get the format/reward right.
