As sad as it makes me to see Revels & Story gone, I do understand the reason. I was wondering if maybe it could be reborn in a new way: It's already not required for Culture, so why not make a new contest that allows players to either write themself, OR use AI to write their stories and poems. Now it is not cheating. Then, have two sets of legend marks, and player chooses which one they want. One mark indicates it was AI, and the other mark indicates it was self-written The second set of legend marks could look something like: Used excellent Ghostwriter 1 times Used quality Ghostwriter 1 times Used adequate Ghostwriter 1 times Some people might actually write by hand and still request the new marks, because they are new. That is ok. My goal here is just to bring some culture back to the kingdom, even if that culture is sometimes futuristic.
