I dream that all creatures that have item drops no longer drop those items and instead drop raw materials that are used in crafting said items. I also dream that crafters are given access to the ability to make any item that has ever existed in game as is appropriate for their profession. Obviously, much like armor crafting, different skill sets would have to work together to make a number of items together. This would allow not only for an expansion of the material economy, but also lend purpose to crafting again and maybe allow it to generate a profit in the current economy. | |
