<b>Inktomi (Yuri 41 - Yuri 42) Minister Inktomi was perhaps the shortest serving Royal Culture Minister in office. His love of the arts were renown in the Kingdom, however, he resigned his post quite early in his term as he believed there was distrust in his leadership. Oddly, Inktomi is far better known for his post as host of the weekly Poetry revels, than for his time as Minister. (He served for 1 year.) <b>Anjos (Yuri 42 - Yuri 58) Minister Anjos was very well known for her active spirit in the Kingdom. She was the first Minister that set lasting traditions within Koguryo's Culture Ministry. She was responsible for the creation of Yuri's Youth day and the Veteran's Day Marches and she continued the Santa M'hul event and the Subpath fairs. She set many precedents for Koguryo that have been continued through her successors. For a few years, Yuri 48 - Yuri 52, Anjos' Ministry was put into the hands of Minister Muckish until her return. (She served for 16 years.) <B>Starrbrite (Yuri 58 - Yuri 61) Minister Starrbrite is perhaps one of the best known and longer serving Ministers. She began her term towards the end of Minister Muckish's and continued his reforming measures throughout her mandate. As Royal Culture Minister she was able to finally return the Poetry Revels to Koguryo as they had been long held by the Muse Guild. She also was the Minister in charge of King Yuri's Diamond Jubilee Festivities in Y60. However, much of her successes arrived after her elevation to the post of 'Royal Minister of Koguryo' a position which Prince-Regent Mhul created when he amalgamated the Royal Peace Ministry and Royal Culture Ministry in Y61. (She served for 20 years.) <B>Royal Ministers: <B>Starrbrite (Yuri 61 - Yuri 78): Minister Starrbrite was the first every Minister of a conjoined Peace and Culture Ministry, titled the 'Royal Ministry of Koguryo'. Her time as Royal Minister led her to become perhaps the most recognized Minister in Koguryo and the longest serving to date. During her term office she is known for continuing the Santa Mhul events, the sub-path fairs, the Poetry Revels and celebrating King Yuri's Platinum Jubilee in Yuri 75. With this Jubilee she continued the tradition begun by the Royal Army in Y25 (Silver Jubilee) and continued by Minister Muckish in Y50, she also had three Platinum Jubilee items distributed to the community. Minister Starrbrite was also responsible for the construction of King Yuri's Jeongwon and Victory Gardens which were used during the Platinum Jubilee. King Mhul would also later be coronated in King Yuri's Jeongwon (Hyul 1). (She served for 20 years.) <B>LunaStarling (Yuri 78 - Hyul 1): Minister LunaStarling was appointed after the resignation of Minister Starrbrite and led the Ministry through the final years of King Yuri's reign. She was especially known for maintaining the Royal Poetry Revels and fulfilling the many extended obligations that Minister Starrbrite had placed within the Ministry's realm of control. Upon the death of King Yuri, Minister LunaStarling resigned from her post. (She served for 5 years.) <B>Gilley (Hyul 1 - Hyul 13): During the first few weeks of Minister Gilley's reign, she was given the chance to lead the funeral of King Yuri with great dignity and admiration. Followed by the funeral, she prepared and hosted the coronation of King Mu'Hyul with such pomp and joyousness. Two major events, that all past and present Royal Ministers are to be jealous of. Minister Gilley was also responsible for the re-opening of King Yuri's Gardens, in honour and remembrance of our late King Yuri (Hyul 1). (She served for 12 years.) | |
