One summer's evening in Yuri 62, a baby girl was born in the wild forests. Her loving parents named her Rosewood; for her lovely natural beauty. Her hair was chestnut brown forming long thick locks, her skin smooth and fair, and her eyes so large and bright like moons. Her childhood was spent running barefoot through the magnificent forests, exploring nature's pure and simple beauty, and expressing herself freely. When she grew old enough to be tutored, her parents sent her off to a nearby town of Buya. She learned all she could from Ironheart and grew strong enough to take up the path of the Poet. It was an easy choice for her; she loved soothing other and taking care of them. However, not everything went as well as her studies.

Rosewood found adjusting to this new life difficult. She continuously got lost in the labyrinth of streets and allies, and hard troublemaking friends. Slowly Rosewood sunk into a depression, she felt so isolated and alone without her family. She dressed in dark drab clothing to hide away her misery, but it didn't work, she still felt the pang of loneliness.

One day, while walking near the East Shaman, Rosewood stopped and asked a young man a question about a current event. The young man kindly stopped to answer her question. The young man was named Aoushi, and from this simple interaction, she found her first true friend. Aoushi saw she was new to the town and took her under his wing. He introduced her to the craft of woodcutting and taught her about different clans and much of the land's history. He was an artistic soul much like Rosewood and he shared his storied with her, trusting in her judgment and opinion. Rosewood valued their friendship immensely. They found solace in each other. Aoushi was a very serious, quiet human being, so gentle in his ways as not to offend anyone. However calm he was there was still the smallest tinge of sadness, not to portray him as sad though, because that would be an insult to who he was. One day, Aoushi told Rosewood he had to leave, for reasons not too clear. She vowed to never forget him, and he will always remain in her heart as a friend and a loved one. He told her never to give up in her life, and with a smile he said he would never forgive her if she did. With tears they said goodbye. Aoushi returned once more months later, for only a day. He was never seen again. With maturity, Rosewood accepted the leaving of her friend, knowing the impression he created will never be forgotten.

With this, Rosewood learned to treasure life, every sweet drop granted to us. She threw out her old clothing and wore bright vibrant colors, and put on a smile in celebration of life. For a while Rosewood was engaged to a rogue, Insanewriter. However their relationship never amounted to much. They were engaged for a few Yuris, but never married. Soon after the couple went their separate ways and broke off the engagement. Rosewood continued on with her Poeting, learning new tricks and trying her hand in various crafts.

One day while at East gate Buya basking in the brilliant bloom of spring, the eyes of a young man happened upon the fair Rosewood. Their eyes locked in an instant, and her body flushed with. The handsome young man walked over and introduced himself as Shandaro. Rosewood smiled and introduced herself as well. The two walked around the edge of Buya, where petals graced the pathway, and the sun shined.
