~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ o o^/|\^o A document of o_^|\/*\/|^_o o\*`'.\|/.'`*/o ~ The Royal Ministry ~ \\\\\\|////// ~ of Koguryo ~ {><><@><><} `"""""""""` ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SPEECH DELIVERED BY THE EMPRESS OF KAYA ON THE OCCASION OF THE KOGURYO-KAYA ALLIANCE FORGED AT THE DIAMOND JUBILEE IN THE ROYAL COLISEUM OF THE ROYAL PALACE OF KOGURYO Salutations, citizens of Koguryo and her allied nations. Salutations to all that have made my stay so pleasant. I have journeyed far from my nation of Kaya to visit your fine kingdoms and your courteous and beautiful peoples. I must thank King Yuri and Prince M'hul for welcoming me into your lands and his palace, in which His Royal Majesty has permitted me to stay for the duration of my visit. I would be remiss if I did not reply with an expression of my most sincere gratitude. It is wonderful to see how well your kingdoms have prospered to make your Diamond Jubilee possible when there is much strife and confusion within my own. I have approached to your royalty to ask to forge an official alliance between us, and so far I have been honored to have such things done. Ever since the death of my parents, I had yet to see such a wonderful and extraordinary sight. I thank you all for honoring me with such splendor. I would like to thank each of the clans who have shared their home with me and the gracious gifts I have received. You bring me much joy. For now, I shall be within your lands, observing your kingdoms, its fine people and splendors. I hope my stay will continue to be delightful and even speak with you all at some point in time. Your hospitality has been nothing but grand. Indeed, it is more than I could have ever asked for. I look forward to enjoying my stay as much as my audience and dealings with His Royal Majesties King Yuri and Prince-Regent M'hul. I thank you once more and hope to speak to you all with my stay. Long live your King Yuri, and may your lands prosper for ages to come. Of His Royal Highness King Yuri's 60th Year of Reign. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ | |
