Profanity: Any words written going around the filter can result in jail time if a prior warning is not heeded. Profanity that consists of insulting sexual or racial remarks is a serious offense and will result in jail time with no prior warning. The words "ass" and "gay" are subjective to interpretation, but if they are used in an insulting and discriminating manner, they will warrant warnings. More specifically, "ass" followed by or preceded by any other word is a jailable offense. When the word "gay" is used by itself in context, it is not considered an offense unless it is directed at a player with ill intentions. When posting on the boards, using symbols such as *or % to replace letters that spell out profane words is still considered cursing. Use the words you intend to say, not with symbols. The standard of this game is that if something is not appropriate for a 6 year old child to hear, it is NOT appropriate for this game. ----------------------------------------------------------- Inappropriate Posting/Board Abuse: Any posts containing: profanity, references to drugs and/or real life drinking, sexual references (including innuendos), racial/ethnic discrimination will result in jail time with no warning. Warnings and eventual jailings will result for the following type of posts: -Spam -Repeated insults towards other players -Repeatedly breaking community board rules -References to non Law 147 compliant websites 1-line posts and its responses will be automatically deleted. ----------------------------------------------------------- Sage Abuse: Sages must concern in-game topics only. Sages that include insults directed to other players or/and contain out of game subjects (including sages about other nexus games) are not permitted. The result is a warning that will lead to eventual jail time if several warnings are granted. Any sages containing: profanity, references to drugs and/or real life drinking, sexual references (including innuendos), racial/ethnic discrimination will result in jail time with no warning. If Immortal assistance is needed, use /report. Do not sage. ------------------------------------------------------ Stealing: No player shall knowingly steal another person's belongings. While the circumstances can vary widely, the final determination will be that the thief has taken what they know they do not own without permission of owner. These circumstances will include, but not be limited to, items dropped on ground intentionally or accidentally. ------------------------------------------------------ Scamming: Scamming is defined, but not limited to the following scenarios: 1. Impersonating a KRU employee or any person holding a position of authority in game, i.e. archon , judge, primogen, tutor, etc. (a) Impersonating an archon/KRU employee will be dealt with under its own law. See Immortal Law. 2. Collecting items/money for a dishonest/false event. 3. Attempting to fool another player by misrepresenting any item for sale/trade, in order to facilitate that sale/trade. Ignorance will be no excuse...YOU are responsible to KNOW the item you present for trade or sale. ------------------------------------------------------ Harassment: (the below does not concern sexual harassment, which warrants a serious other crime) It is considered harassment if an offender does not stop harassing a player after the victim has clearly told the offender to stop. The person should F9 the offender after giving a warning. If that person continues by n-mailing, it may be considered harassment. Say nothing that you would feel uncomfortable saying or hearing face-to-face with the youngest or oldest members of the Kingdoms' community (about from age 10 - 60) of both genders and from several races and nationalities. ------------------------------------------------------ Continued | |
