Of course, the rate per token is different in the banking world due to the amount of treasures you hold. The more treasure you hold, the better rate of your token. Long John Silver being the highest of ranking amongst pirates has a larger worth, second being Long Shank and then Nova. So if a toll from Red Beard is 100 tokens, then Long Shank needs to meet 200% of that figure. So, Red Beards rate of 1.2 gold becomes 2.4 gold per times by 100 (the fee) equals 240 their asking fee. However Long Shanks tokens are worth 1.5 so 240 now divided by 1.5 equals 160 gold pieces for entry. Now, visa versa 1.5 gold doubled would be 3 as a whole number for Long Shanks tolls. There entry is also 100 which would be 300 pieces per entry. Now, divided by 1.2 gold pieces is 250 gold payable. So you can see how this delicate system works. The harder you do at gathering bounty, the higher your status grows. Due to this, not many people roam within the territory of Long John Silver, the prices in comparison are beyond riches and very few get to see how they operate. But it is with certainty that Long John Silver and his crew are the toughest sea dogs out there. However, blood thirsty as they are the respect fully without question the pirates code. Although these are firmly established factions there still exists those outside of their scope. You have the Red Rogues, The Cut-throats, The Sea Swabbies and Bluestone. Each of these are rogue pirates with the lack of pirate tokens. Of course without tokens they cannot cross the seas of territories, thus these usually stick to town and city plunders. Some make alliances with other factions, some have plans beyond that of the hidden treasure. Prime example being that of Bluestone whom tried to use his pirating influence to help aide Johiah. | |
