Once upon a time, there was a talented mage named Natsu. He was a vagabondage and moved from town to town to find teacher who could teach him new skills. He had great power and loved to help people. On day, when he was walking around on the city, he met a beautiful girl called Jul. Natsu was attracted to her and managed to be her friend. As time passed, they became a lovely couple. However, Jul actually didn't love Natsu and her true appearance was a Devil. She just wanted to take over Natsu power and the only way to get it was by killing Natsu with her own hands. Jul made some strategies to kill Natsu, such as, giving him poisonous potion, summon monsters, etc, unfortunately, all of these were unsuccessful. Eventually, Jul planned to kill Natsu by attacking his heart with a poisonous knife. When Natsu was asleep, Jul sneaked in to his room and tried to kill him. But, at that time she was found out by Natsu. He was really shocked when seeing Jul with her knife. He looked at her and asked, "Why you are doing this to me? Don't you love me? I love you so much." But Jul said to him sharply, "Who love you? I only pretend to love you to get all the power I ever wanted, so I can rule the world". After seeing his own lover deceived and tried to kill him, Natsu was so surprised. At that time, he was not realized that he expelled his great power which was uncontrollable. All the things that he saw was destroyed in a minutes, his soul was sick and unstable and his heart was full of hatred. He was depressed and left the town. From town to town, he heard that there was a shaman who could heal any wounds with spirit power. Natsu tried hard to find that shaman's house. Finally, he arrived there and a bit surprised with what he saw. The shaman was very young, but she talked with him very firmly," What do you want?" Natsu said," Please heal my wounds". The shaman replied," Why I need to heal your wounds? You have great power and genius in magic skills, right?" Natsu replied her once again,"Even though I have all of that, I can't control it and do not know what to do". That shaman looked at him and she knew what had happened with Natsu, "Your heart is broken and terrified, all good and bad energy are gathered in your heart, that is why you cannot control your power, I can throw away that bad energy but it would take much time. Hearing that the shaman wanted to heal his wound, Natsu promised her to become her student, and since then, He called her Dohsa. Days passed, healing somebody from a heavy shock and full of soreness was not an easy job. It really took time, patience, carefulness and amazing skill. They needed to hold a few rituals, such as calling spirit, ceremonial fire, drinking healing potions, etc. With extra care, she taught many things to Natsu. His heart melted by what Dohsa had done to him. Day by day, their relationship became very close and the wounds on Natsu's heart are completely healed. After that Natsu started to study harder about healing and spirit ritual. However, happiness didn't last very long as Dohsa's health gradually dropped. Natsu wanted to heal her but she finally told him the truth that all the healing rituals needed sacrifice, usually the effect is different but Natsu case is extraordinary. Natsu asked Dohsa, "Why you do all of these to me? You healed my wounds and taught me everything, but now why you are not allowing me to heal you?". Dohsa said to Natsu, "Do not heal my wounds because it's useless, I sacrificed my life because you are the most talented student I ever had, I'm sure you would be a great mage and shaman who could help others and change this world to be a better place. Natsu was very touched by what she said and eventually, Dohsa passed away. Natsu continued his journey to learn as well as to help people who need his help. Life would be very wonderful if we could help people without requiring certain reward. All wounds could be healed, if it is healed with whole-heartedly. Xiuling | |
