It did not take very long for Truakh to find out about Mazel's ardent attempts to restore natural order to the Temple of BlueFlame. Afraid of what that could mean for him, self-imposed deity arranged for his minions to ambush Mazel in the darkness of the night and bring him over to his lair. Many long hours passed as Truakh tortured Mazel's mind in an attempt to make him his follower. In the end, he was not able to break the old man, but mental torture left its toll. Drained of all conscious thought, Mazel was left to wonder the confines of Truakh's Temple... forever its prisoner. Perhaps one day we can help him, but for now it appears that the darkness has won. | |
